Public Sector / Government

 

Office of the Deputy Primeminister.

The ODPM e-fire site is a project based website for the UK Governments fire portal. Commisioned by ODPM through Advantage System Solutions, the site encorporates multiple permissions groups for various user groups and is a comprehensive news site, This is a customised site with various specific requirements added to the Messagepac core for the project.

For this project it was essential that the web platform conformed to the accessibility and standards required by Government sites, including eGif and AAA standards.

 

Fire and Rescue Service

The UK Governments FRS Online website provides a comprehensive point of communication for the Fire and Rescue service in the UK. It contains a wealth of resources and information, all searchable through the use of Messagepacs powerful site indexing and search features.

The site shows the total flexability of Messagepac's tiered templating system.

   

Business

Railston Ltd

Railston are a leading shop fitout company in the UK and have over 22 years interior fit-out experience with European retail and leisure sector clients.

Their site requirements were extensive, advanced content management, multiple newsletter subscription and fully updatable flash objects are all controlled through the messagepac™ control panel. Matek Business Media Ltd

Matek are a Horsham based company who specialise in Broadcast system integration for the likes of ITN, SKY, BBC, the Telegraph etc.The Messagepac site has been configured for restricted access by certain partners for specific proce books and product information.

One of the key requirements was ease of updates, and seach engine ranking optimisation. MAtek also use our SEO pac Search engine optimisation service and currently rank position 1 and 2 in Google under thier chosen keywords.

TotelUK Ltd

Totel Serviced apartments provide a number of High quality, luxury apartments across the Midlands. With an ever growing portfolio of properties, they needed a site that could expand with thier needs and be totally self sufficent in thier content updating.

Digital Forest have also deployed a full online booking system for Totel, to allow bookings to be taken over the internet. The system paid for itself with 4 weeks of deployment!

Advantage Business Ltd

Advantage Business are a large consultancy organisation with four subsidury devisions. They currently run 4 messagepac sites and have recently deployed and intranet version as well.

Key to Advantages requirements were the ability to have additional custom development and discreet product sites internal to the main sites, bringing hosting costs down.

Advantage Business Group are also a Digital Forest Partner organisation.

Home Office IT

http://www.homeofficeit.co.uk/ provide IT equipment specifically for the SOHO office environment. the site offers leading edge design with conventional cart procedures to allow for easy use.

Video Editing Direct

http://www.videoediting-direct.co.uk/ is a good example of a full featured ecommerce deployment. Although catering to a specific market it sees a high traffic and completion rate thanks to it's froogle (Googles price comparison site) integration.

The site owners were originally quoted £7,500 to create a similar site. Using Messagepac the company has been able to build a highly effective ecommerce strategy at a fraction of that cost.

ISIS

The ISIS website is a dynamic example of how you can integrate flash with messagepac. The site uses an interactive flash interface to review aspects of the solution, complete with audio. It also allows flash based link throughs to standard dynamic content, so the site is easily maintained by the content providers.

Non Profit Organisations

Eternity Church (C3i Guildford)

Eternity is a rapidly growing Contemporary Church based in Guildford. It is part of the Australian based C3i Movement.

Eternity use messagepac for dynamic role based content publishing and full online communication through the e-directory features.

 

The Coach - community liason project.

Using Messagepac not only for the standard public site, the coach also use Messagepacs integrated messageboards (forums) for team netwroking and communication.

Because the project is part of a registered charity, cost was an issue. Using Messagepac allowed them to have advanced features and full control over their site, with the prohibitive cost of other content management products. They simply pay a fixed monthly fee for site subscription and hosting.
