Messagepac™ Update policy
Information about our Site update service, including service level and terms and conditions.
Unlimited Content Updates
Digital Forest's messagepac™ update service allows for unlimited content updates
to your web site based on the following criteria:

Updates are for content, not design or development, for clarity this includes
items such as news articles, products, services, additional static text or other
articles. It does not include changing the site design, template setup, block
positioning etc. These are design and development tasks that will be charged
at our standard rate.
We will update contact email addresses and add users and other general site settings
if required.
Content origination
Content must be fully written as you want it to be displayed on the
website, The update service does not include copy writing, although if
you would like that we can provide it - charged at our standard hourly
rate.
The update service does not include retrieval of content from other sources such
as websites etc.
Content should be emailed to updates@messagepac.com in standard text form. We
are not responsible for errors in your text such as spelling, typos etc. You
should check this before sending.
You are responsible for the copyright of all content supplied. Digital Forest
Interactive Solutions Ltd is not liable for any copyright infringment made with
your content.
Images
You may send images to us for inclusion on the site, we will resize them and
optimise them for the web if required. We will not scan images in, retrieve them
from other sources or create original artwork as part of this service. We can
however use stock images if we feel appropriate for the content and design, from
our extensive library.
You are responsible for the copyright of all images supplied.
Original artwork can be provided if you require it, charged at an agreed rate.
What constitutes an update?
An update is a single article, 1 news item or 1 product or 1 information article, or one amendment to a page content etc and update does not constitutue 5 articles all emailed at the same time. If you do have additional articles to be put up within the month, you can either pay ( there is a charge of £5.00 ex VAT per update) or wait until the following month.
Service Time
We will endevour to update your site within 24-48 hours, if your content is of
a time sensitive nature you should send it to us in advance and request a scheduled
time for it to be shown, this can be done automatically on our software.
Update time is on a 'best endevours' basis and we reserve the right to extend
update times should circumstances dictate.
Scheduling content
If you require content to be removed on a certain date you can inform us of this
when we update the site and we can schedule the removal of that content on the
date required.
if your content is of a time sensitive nature you should send it to us
in advance and request a scheduled time for it to be shown, this can be
done automatically on our software.
